The climate in Sunny Beach is mild, with warm to hot summer months cooled by a pleasant sea breeze, mild winter with few snowfall days, beautiful spring that begins around March 15, and warm and sunny autumn that continues until December. During the summer months, the sun is up for 10-11 hours each day.
The beach of the Sunny Beach resort is spacious, about 10 km long, and covered with fine golden sand. Along most of the beach, sand dunes separate the beach from the hotels.
