Chateau Aheloy is situated approximately 300m from the sea in between the villages of Aheloy and Ravda, just 7 km from the city of Nessebàr and the famous resort of Sunny Beach. Bourgas Airport is only 20 km away meaning that transfer times are amongst the shortest for beach holidays in Europe.

The village of Aheloy is a quiet area with a local population of around 5,000 people. It is located 7 km. southwest of the city of Nessebar. There are a few bars and restaurants in Aheloy but the area is a quiet resort, far from the noise of the bustling major cities.

Ravda is a more developed coastal resort with numerous bars, cafes and restaurants as well as some nightclubs.

Nessebar town is split into two parts, the new and the old, the new part has a number of bars and restaurants and serves as the municipal capital of the area. Located on a small peninsula which is linked with the land by a long and narrow isthmus is the old part of Nessebar.
