Borovets is the oldest and most famous mountain resort in Bulgaria. Situated on the northern slopes of the Rila Mountain at an altitude of 1350 meters, the resort enjoys a breathtaking location huddled amongst age-old pine forests right at the foot of Mount Musala (2925 m), the highest peak on the Balkans. Located only one hour from the capital Sofia, Borovets is one of the most accessible ski resorts in Europe. Established at the end of the 19th century as a hunting place for the Bulgarian kings, Borovets has developed into an attractive mountain resort. With snow cover from December through until April and a long summer season, Borovets is a popular destination all year round.

Description
At Chamkoria Chalets we have a wide range of accommodation to suit all needs and group sizes. Whether you want to have a drink at the bar, enjoy a meal, relax in the leisure centre, or take part in one of the activities in the area, you will really enjoy your stay with us.
Our chalets are designed to be your home from home with all the comforts you would expect. You have your own private entrance and garden area. Some chalets also include a sauna and outdoor jacuzzi.
There are four bedrooms, either double or twin rooms, and three bathrooms. Each chalet sleeps up to 8 people. The living area, fireplace, dining, & kitchen areas are located on the top floor of these properties, maximising the stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

Eating and Drinking
Kozi Bistro offers both International and Bulgarian cuisine. Our restaurant menus are designed to offer you everything from a light breakfast to a three course meal or simply coffee & cake.
Every meal is prepared using fresh seasonal produce sourced from the best local suppliers.
We are sure you will enjoy your dining experience in the “Kozi” atmosphere.

Spa and Wellness
Whether you need to relax after your day of skiing or hiking, or you simply need to unwind, our leisure centre & wellness area is the place for you.
Our facilities include a sauna, Jacuzzi, and swimming pool.

At Chamkoria Chalets we can arrange everything you need for your ski & snowboard holiday including:

We also provide a complimentary shuttle bus which will bring you right to the gondola. This will run at very regular intervals in the morning and afternoons to meet your skiing needs. It will continue to run throughout the day and also in the evenings. So don’t worry if you want some après ski, we will still be there to bring you home later!

Winter Services
During the winter the resorts turns into a magical place. Borovets has a good selection of blue and red runs ski runs which are ideal for family skiing and intermediate borders & skiers. For beginners there are nursery slopes which are located in front of the Rila Hotel and also up in the Yastrebets area. Of course there are also a few black runs for the more adventurous & experienced skiers/snowboarders. The whole resort contains 58 km of ski pistes vary which can be grouped in three regions: Sitnyakovo – Martinovi Baraki pistes, Markudjik pistes and Yastrebets pistes. Some of the winter activities for you to enjoy are:

Summer Activities

• Golf - For golf lovers you will find the highly regarded Ihtiman golf course within 20 minutes drive.
