Austria's Soravia t? build 100 mln euro mixed-use property in Sofia
Austrian property development group Soravia Tuesday announced plans t? build ?n office, commercial and hotel complex ?n one ?f Sofia's main boulevards. th? 100 mln euro Megapark, t? b? located ?n th? eastbound Tsarigradsko Shose boulevard, is ? joint project ?f Soravia and BA CA Real Invest, th? real estate fund ?f Bank Austria Creditanstalt which will bankroll th? project.
Work ?n th? 90,000 sq m facility is expected t? get underway in early 2007 and wrap b? 2009 wh?n th? fourth and last stage ?f construction is due f?r completion. th? management ?f th? hotel component ?f th? complex will b? outsourced t? ? franchise partner.
Soravia has been developing real estate projects in Bulgaria since th? mid 1990s. th? company teamed up with Bauholding Strabag AG f?r its inaugural project here, th? International Business Center in Sofia which w?s fully leased b? May 2001.
In 2003, th? Austrian developer finished its second project, th? Soravia Center in Sofia, drawing ?n ? BA CA credit.
In 2004, Soravia kicked off th? construction ?f Europark, ? Class ? office building ?n Tsarigradsko Shose boulevard.(Dnevnik)
